Over the years, Astro Design has been honoured through several industry programs that celebrate excellence in residential design.
We are grateful for the recognition our work has received from organizations such as the National Kitchen & Bath Association and the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association. NKBA Ottawa Design Excellence Awards
Two first-place honours recognized Julia Enriquez’s work in both classic/traditional and contemporary kitchen design. The projects reflect a balance of timeless material choices and thoughtful spatial planning, an approach that continues to define Astro’s work.

A defining year for the studio, with multiple first-place recognitions for kitchen and bathroom design. Among them were projects that explored both classic and contemporary approaches, demonstrating Astro’s versatility and design depth.
NKBA Ottawa Design Excellence Awards
Several Astro projects received top honours across kitchen, bathroom, and powder room categories. One powder room and ensuite later, went on to receive recognition at the NKBA North American Design Competition, extending Astro’s work onto a broader stage.
